Bravil and Leyawiin Mage Guild Recommendations

Hi, im having problems with the Mage Guild recommendation quests for both Bravil and Leyawiin. I was able to obtain the amulet for the feebleminded older lady but when i return to her or her helper, nothing happens. She just repeats that she hears voices. The amulet is in my inventory and i even tried equipping it but still the old lady says same thing and so does her helper. Is there a problem with this part of the game or is it something i've done wrong please help.

 

In Bravil, I am told to go and talk to this guy about this young girl but not speak to the girl about it. Anyway, the quest never updates, i go look for the guy and he doesnt move the quest along after i find him and he doesnt say anything different. No topic to click on or anything. Have you heard of this before?

First of all, you have to speak about the Seer's Stone to the old lady so she updates quest ( you can scroll down dialogue)

 

For the guy you gotta charm him or he wont tell you anything. Maybe you can bribre.

I was told by the old lady to go to the blueblood cave and i did, i got the amulet. So i should try and scroll, ok, i will try that cause i dont see any seer topic for the old lady.

Nor does the pointer on the compass point to where the guy should be and Bravil recommendation as an active quest is not listed in my quest list. When i talk again to the lady that gave the quest she talks about another quest that i should help her with. Its like the recommendation quest just gets ignored. This is before I even go talk to the guy.

Make sure you talk to the right person, and that you dont have a mod that conflicts with theese quests.

How can i find out if a mod is conflicting. Is there a list somewhere. I have about 15 mods im using and i would not want to go thru, uncheck, restart, play quest, have same problem, quit game, uncheck mod, recheck another mod, restart, play quest, have same problem... you get the idea?

Scroll down Kud-Ei's dialogue box too and Valen Vamori, maybe you haven't asked eveything you need to about the quest. Perhaps the topic Valen Vamori is in Kud-Ei's dialogue window and that will activate the quest.

 

If you haven't been playing long it is easy to miss that SOMETIMES dialogue boxes can be scrolled.

for the leyawiin guild recommendation when you retrieve the amulet MAKE SURE YOU SPEAK TO KALTHAR inside the area where you found the amulet. he will tell why he took the amulet in the first place and will start attacking you. kill him and return to the leyawiin guildhall and give her the amulet.
