VikingII
Is there a possibility (or a override file) to save a created face as a preset (or something like this) to start a new game quickly with your own face? I mean quickly, without special programs like the editor.
DarkeWolf
As a preset, not without the toolset, as far as I am aware. To the best of my knowledge, a .mop file (preset morph file) can only be extracted from a .mrh file which is a face morph that is created in the toolset. If you are talking about a face that was created by a modder... IF they created the file in the toolset, and IF they still have the .mrh file that they used to make it, then you can request that they release the file as a .mop which you can install as a preset option, once you update your chargenmorphcfg.xml file for the new preset. if it's a pre-made .mor file that a modder has released, you can use the face replacer on the savegame for the character that you made http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=428 you can also use that python script to change the morph of hte new character with the morph of an old character or vice versa. VikingII
I wandering a simpler option, like addon that adds a "save" button on the character creation interface, or something like this... I don't want to learn how to use a toolset, im just a gamer that wants to keep the character i made...
VGfallout
well buddy, thats about as simple as it gets, running that tool is the best "user friendly" solution to this request i could possibly think oflearning the toolset is certainly not required to create a customized mop file, its a matter of moving sliders around till your happy otherwise, you gotta bite the bullet im afraiduse the tool dude ;]
VikingII
damn, there isn't a module with a single save buton so... damn damn damn... ill try with the toolset, thanks anyway
RustyBlade
You could always keep a save from your current game and then use the Face Replacer DarkeWolf mentioned to swap out the face at start-up. Only drawback is you don't get your face until after the opening dialogues.
