I start my game check the data boxes for the mod I want to apply, go to change race, becouse currently Im trying to use the rens beauty pack full.., when the race menu pops up,, I scroll through the races to see if the mod is working..But to my surprise its not.. The menu for the race is there, but visually they are'nt WTF..lol I tried applying the mod anyway,, I get a character with no face, with teeth and ears,, interesting.. I know Ive probably got something in a wrong file somewhere.. I tried to access my oblivion default file under data,, but It has the symbol for the Oblivion test construction set,, Which BTW,, I uninstalled, becouse I just want to apply the mods not make theam.. Ive tried placing dif files here and there to no succes,, Can anyone give me step by step instructions on installing mods,, in extreme detail,, as if u where talking to a 5 yrold..lol. Plus any plugins or patches that could improve my game play.. Ive searched and Ive gotten certain mods to work,, but dunno how, I just placed theam in the Oblivion/ data file.. I tried to install the wyre bash,, but it did'nt work for me, something about it being down..Links would be appriciated... or info, anything please before I go bald.. Smooth613
It actually sounds like you may have had it installed correctly at first but just need BSA Redirection so the new textures and meshes are applied. Use a mod manager such as Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) or Wrye Bash for BSA Redirection. Here are some more links to help you get started in modding. TESIV:POSItivedev/akm modsUnderstanding Load OrdersWrye Bash And of course there is tons of information at The BethSoft Forums Good luck!

Smooth613
I've already posted on how to 'get it to like all the new meshes'. I assume by that you mean recognize and use the new meshes and/or textures. The answer to this question was already answered in my previous post. *Hint* Read about BSA Redirection.** If you're not willing to make the effort and read the information in front of you I can't be bothered to help any further. You have to at least make an effort to help yourself. Then I'll be more than willing to assist after that. Read, read, and read some more.
