ASJ94
Hi :) I'm new on this forum, but I've got a question to ask eveyone and I hope you can all help me. Two days ago I bought Oblivion "The Elder Scrolls" for PC, I installed it, everything is ok, but then it stops working if I open the "Video Options" or in a specific point in the game (I can't even continue the game because it always stops working in the same point), like it's loading and after a while the screen becomes black and a window appears saying: Oblivion has stopped working. I've got Vista, but I'm thinking that the problem is my video board, I have an Intel G33 Express Chipset. Can anyone help me? Thanks :D PS: sorry for my english, I'm Italian :)
bben46
I'm not familiar with the G33 chipset. However you may try this site to see if your system will run the game. Here is the link to the Bethesda Softworks board unofficial FAQ. Lots of good info there - read the entire thread it's worth your time. The section you need is - 1.2 where it has Real system requirements I think http://www.bethsoft....4 Many laptops will not work, even newer ones as Oblivion is a real resource hog. ASJ94
Ok I downloaded the latest driver for my video board... (If I didn't say it in the last reply I don't have a laptop but a normal pc with Vista 32bit) but still it doesn't work. I open Oblivion, I am on the menu, I open the "Video Options" and when I click "Back to the menu", the screen becomes black and a window appears saying: Oblivion has stopped to work. And besides it still stops to work at the same point in the game. I really don't know what's the problem, I want to play so much! Please help me :( And I'm sorry... I don't want to annoy you! listentomymusic
Open oblivion launcher in your oblivion folder then click options. You can adjust your video settings outside of the game there. Also you can adjust your video setting in your oblivion.ini file located in you my games/oblivion directory
