notmyhome
The "Overwrite" folder is at the bottom of the left panel of Mod Organizer. If you need pictures, I can recommend 's tutorials.
Moksha8088
Skip that tutorial. Install Skyrim where it is supposed to be installed. Skyrim will do this automatically. 1. Watch How to Install NMM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClqtmSUsFhg 2. Once Nexus Mod Manager is installed, Run it as directed. 3. Run Skyrim from NMM to make sure it is working. 4. Download SKSE from the internet. Run the .exe version. 5. Go to Nexus site and download SkyUI through NMM and run it per the above instructions froms the video. 6. Do the same thing with Sherson's memory patch, Safety Load, uGridstoGo, and the Unofficial Patches. 7. Download and run LOOT from the internet. 8. Now you are set to download the mods you want from Nexus. 9. Good thing to just add one at a time to make sure they work. Nice to run LOOT after each new mod so the load order never becomes a problem.
notmyhome
There might be differences in which mod manager one prefers, but I definitely do not recommend installing Skyrim to the default location. Windows UAC has a tendency to screw with mods that want to alter stuff inside the C:\Programs\ (which is where Skyrim usually goes), even if you're running as admin.
