great idea....only I am as capable of doing that as I am of lighting my farts on fire and flying all the way up to mars and back I know less than nothing when it comes to modding. I would FKING LOVE to make a mod, even if it was just a small book or two lol it would be awesome

I am at work (so I do not have the CK open), but...

1. Open the Creation Kit
2. Click 'File' -> 'Data...'
3. Double Click 'Skyrim.esm' and 'Update.esm'

[edit] (once checked click 'ok')
4. Wait for it to load

[edit] Warning(s): click 'yes to all'
5. Click 'File' -> 'Save'
6. Type in a name for your mod and click 'Save'
7. Open the Object Window: 'View' -> 'Object Window'
8. Click 'Items' -> 'Book'
9. Find a book that you like the book cover of:

[edit] Book List
10. Right Click the book and click 'Duplicate'
11. Double Click the new book and fill out the 'ID', 'Name', 'Weight', 'Value' and 'Book Text' cells to whatever you want

[edit] Formatting 'Book Text' (not required): use html code
12. Click 'ok' ("Create New Object?" Click 'No')

[edit] Rename Confirmation: click 'yes'
13. Open the 'Cell View' (drop down 'Interiors') and double-click on the location you want to place your book(s).
14. Drag your book from the 'Object Window' to the 'Render Window'.
15. Click 'File' -> 'Save'

... and your done
