Smooth613
Well you can use an Overhaul mod such as OOO, Frans, T.I.E., etc etc... But a simple solution for those that don't use an overhaul mod is to download some armor and weapon mods. Then you can integrate them into your leveled list with a Bashed Patch and viola! Tons and tons of armor and weapons on NPCs, in Shops, Containers, etc... It's an easy way to add a lot of diversity to the game without a complete overhaul. So here are some mods I recommend. Armamentarium Complete v1.35 and ArtifactsSins Expanded Light ArmorWaalx Real Swords I linked the member profile, just scroll down and you can download weapons for each race. Total of 6 sets of weapons. After you have them downloaded and installed correctly, following the documentation for each, you need to rebuild your Bashed Patch through Wrye Bash so you can get the full benefits of each of the 3 mods without one overwriting the other due to load order. If you're not familiar with Wrye Bash read up on it some through the link I just provided, it's not hard to use after you grasp the basics. If you are familiar with Wrye Bash and the Bashed Patch feature simply rebuild your patch to include the above mods in the Leveled list. Quick explanation of that is... Right click on your Bashed Patch > Select Rebuild Patch > Check Import Inventory and select all > Scroll down to Leveled List and Check it, leaving it set to automatic in the box on the right > Rebuild Patch. There ya go. Now you have hundreds if not thousands of weapons and armor in shops and containers, and on NPCs, friendly or foe. Enjoy!
Zetsuboketti
If you just want bandits to use lower level armor sometimes then you can use Real Bandits and Highwaymen as an alternative to mods that add various armors and weapons.
therrias
thank you Zetsubo Ketti. Smooth613 using morre diferent gear would probably only make things worse.
Smooth613
Either solution will work, it's what you prefer for your game. If you are satisfied with the vanilla weapons and armor, use Zetsubo Ketti's solution. It will do the job just fine.If you want a greater selection in weapons and armor which leads to more diversity use any of the mods I posted. Again, it's personal preference. Choose what works best for you.
