yet another ctd problem

hi everyone,

 

i have just reinstalled oblivion from scratch and added a great(?) amount of mods. each time I leave the IC dock area (alternate start mod) and go exploring, my game can't seem to handle the loading of new areas and crashes. this happens when distant landscapes are about to change to detailed ones. now some necessary infos:

maybe someone can give advice on how to solve this. there has to be something wrong with some mods I guess, because this happens so early in the game.

well, seems like some ini tweaking did the trick. but now i have clipping issues with clothes. i hope it's ok if I open a new thread right away.
