Creating a character using CK and several mods

So I've been trawling through a lot of tutorials and have managed to make my own unique NPC with Apachii hair (haha, finally defeated you, coding!) but when I try to merge the NPC and RaceMenu NIF files my NifMerger doesn't have the 'merge child nodes' box. I don't know what to do now aside from looking for more tutorials, but I haven't found any relating to this exact subject. I have downloaded the prerequisites for NIFMerger, for future reference.
