Why does All natural weather have such bright nights? I try to run All natural weather and darker nights together, but it seems like all natural weather overides darker nights. I want to run all natural weather with darker nights. Any ideas? Thank you.

Unless you have the Omod there should be several plugins like:

Natural weather with darker nights

Natural weather HDR with darker nights

Brighter torches... etc.

I couldn't find the natural weather mod I use for HDR buit PM me if you want a darker nights and brighter torches file uploaded.

Thank you. I did go into the .ini file and edited how bright the nights are. I kinda got that fixed but its kinda weird now because you cant really see the lighting from other sources from far away. It just looks awkword now. I also cannot get the lighting inside structures to be in sinc with the lighting outside.

No need for another mod to make the nights darker,.. All Natural handles that itself. Also you can adjust the lighting too. You just need to read the information provided when you download mods, especially the more complex ones. I'm not talking about skimming over the information, or picking sections to read, read it all, then read it again. That's how you understand what the mod is doing and it will work properly when you, the user, sets it up correctly.

Smooth is right, you wont need darker nights as all natural already has it inbuilt, you just need to change the ini, however, it doesn't include darker dungeons so you will have to download a separate mod for that if you want darker dungeons (i suggest "let there be darkness" or "let there be more darkness" if you have some of the mods it specifies)

the awesome thing about all natural and let there be (more) darkness is that all natural takes all the "unnatural" light sources from the dungeons and let there be (more) darkness makes them darker and clears the crappy blue fog.

yea i know I got it all fixed except for the interior lighting sinc. I am trying to figure how to get this to working. 6. Rebuild your Bashed Patch, selecting “Import Cells” from “All Natural.esp”. If you have installed them, also select “All Natural – SI.esp.” and “Import Cells” from “All Natural - Indoor Weather Filter For Mods.esp”. I do not understand what this part is saying or asking me to do. What tool to i need to use to do what it is asking. I do read the readme but I read so many of them that sometimes I get confused. I go back and jump from one part to the other because I read it so much. I might not have understood what I had read but I try to do my best.

it is asking you to rebuild your bash patch using wrye bash, you have to look for the "bash patch" right click it, then rebuild patch, when the menu comes up you look for import cells and you mark it, then on the menu out of import cells (on the right) you look for "all natural.esp, all natural - SI.esp (if you have SI that is) and finally, indoor weather filter for mods.esp) and mark them all so they are active.

you really should learn to work with wrye bash for modding oblivion or this wo0unt be the first problem you will find unfortunately, it is hard mate, i am only starting now my self and i have many problems, but i hope you will get there :)

AWesome thanks man for your help. OH btw I just noticed there is a lot of stuff to activate on that bash patch. Do I activate it all? Some of the mods on there I dont think I even have. I dont know what to include in the bash patch. I know what to include on the all natural weather but whats all this other stuff? Do I need to worry about it or just the all natural weather?

can't help you there dude, that's the part i haven't got down my self :S i can find lots of wrye bash sites online but they usually don't have a proper faq, they are usually aimed at people who actually know what they are doing but just need some tips.

from what i have learned though, bash patch is like a big massive patch for oblivion but with the mods you want, so on the bash patch section, what ever you tick, will be loaded as a patch. so i guess it helps you when you reach the 255esp limit. importing i am still not 100% sure about but it kind of sounds like you just import parts of the mod, like import graphics, you would only be importing the graphics of a mod, import npc, you would only be importing the npc's of that mod if you marked it.

but i could be wrong mate, as i said, I'm kinda new to this, have been trying to run a stable modded oblivion for well over a week and failing, its really difficult to get it right and there are always problems when getting lots of mods together, are you using fcom by any chance?

You're on the right track Tonkrogerio. It also does much more. For example it can help avoid problems caused by "The Rule of One" Basically that means only one mod can alter a single record. If more than one mod alters the same record the mod loaded last in the LO wins and only it's changes take effect. Well a Bashed Patch beats the rule by allowing you to Import and Merge certain things into a Patch which generally loads last. For example if you have multiple weapon and armor mods but you want all of them to show up on NPCs and in Containers you can merge them into your Leveled List and they will all be present. Another example is with Importing Scripts and AI Packages like with the Unofficial Patch. This way other mods don't 'undo' the fixes that the Unofficial patch makes. There is much much more. I suggest reading the following websites to get an idea of how and what to include in your patch. Ultimately it's up to you though, that's the great thing. YOU get to choose what you want to supercede what. Anyway check out these sites.

--Wrye Bash It's all covered here, just use the index on the left to find what you need and learn sections at a time. I suggest starting with the Bashed Patch, Mods Tab, and Installers Tab for starters. Again it's up to you though, but it's all worth reading.

--TESIV:POSItive Great site, loads of information on just about anything you could be interested in.

Enjoy.
