ThaLuuksta
Hey people,I tried to make my own armor, and it looks just fine in nifskope. But as soon as I open it in G.E.C.K, it's just looks like random polygones.I don't know where or what went wrong, please help
KDStudios
The mesh wasn't aligned properly by the looks of it.You also need to sort out your texture issue. Everything wouldn't be red like that if you only saved the textures correctly =] But yeah. When I tried doing that with Feral Ghouls I found that because the armour wasn't aligned with the Feral Ghoul Skeleton it turned out like that.So you're going to have to align this up to the upperbody.nif =]
GrindedStone
Well Idk I sort of spent the last 6 years on textures because it was just more fun. I think though that armor involves skinning an rigging. Skinning being for VATS dismemberment, an Rigging bone weight on the skeleton for animation reasons. You can look into it in articles on the Nexus download site Nexus Article Database There's tons of advanced stuff there. Also a lot of the time the modders will use Nifty a Command prompt run application which will somewhat skin a armor based off the vanilla armors. Then some people use Blender with others using 3DS Max for the mesh work so there would be different ways for each, even further different ways to get your freshly created mesh switched into a working .nif mesh through nifscope.
