Nillfoskill
Hey, I'm pretty new to all of this modding business and my friends told me that in order to fully appreciate oblivion modding I need to get Wrye Bash. Well, I did but whenever I fire it up the command prompt window flashes for a second and disappears. I generated a bugdump and this is what it had to tell me: Traceback <Most recent call last>: File "bash.py", line 74, in <module> import bosh File "C:\program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Mopy\bosh.py", line 1472 except exception as error: SyntaxError: invalid syntax I have no idea what to do and would greatly appreciate some help on the matter. Maybe if I've done something horribly wrong and need to start over, someone could walk me through the whole process? I am also running Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit if that makes any difference. Thanks.

Thanks. Which version of Python do you have? Wrye Bash does not work with 3.x Python.
Nillfoskill
I'm currently running python 2.
Shadowfen
I'm currently running python 2.5 It seems that you are running an older version of Wrye Bash, or the latest version of Wrye Bash on an old Python. Recommend that you download the latest version of Wrye Bash (288) and Wrye Python (03a) and install those (Wrye Python first).
