hoduken
Controls viewable distance for LOD buildings, ruins, etc. Especially useful when installing RAEVWD as lowering this to 20 or 15 will dramatically improve frame rates without having to turn distant objects off completely. ah i see. but my real problem is that im not seeing anything in the distance, not the frame rate. im assuming that the mod is supposed to let you see grass and trees beyond 50 yards right? i see the distant land but nothing between me and the distant lands. just grassy fields. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h104/niku13/111-1.jpg observe.......this is with my ugrid tree count or whatever set to 60 so let me rephrase my first post. i have 60+fps with everything maxed out on an amazing machine but the mod that supposed to let me see things in the distance doesn't do anything. Marie46
Thats wonderfull. My machine cant handle it quite aswell.Anyway. Read the readme. Never did it say trees or grassenhanced. You are in assumption about it rather then having red what is there. The only thing enviroment it makes visible are huge rocks. The rest are ruins, ships, structures and cities. No trees or grass. :P

Marie46
The only tip/idea i have regarding that is try enhanced vegetation and use the lowres texture, use low poly grass and then play the ini settings. Eventually ugridsload can be made to work, but i sadly dont know how.

mooncarver
read here: http://www.tweakguides.com/Oblivion_9.html scroll down and try raising the mentioned variables. however, I'm also running a very fine machine but with all the texture packs and graphical enhancements I get constant popups, like you. my guess is, the engine can't handle huge improvements fast enough and can't use modern high end hardware as good as other games do. if you manage to find a solution though, let me know please.
