In FAQ on FO3 Wanderers Edition info file it says : "This is usually the result of an installed mod (FWE or something else) looking for a required master file which is not present." So there is probably something wrong with my load order i just cant see what it is. Game works fine with out any mods, and works fine with a few selected smaller mods. I am on windows 7.So here is the whole process i went through. First i installed fallout 3 goty edition. Then i installed fose version fose_v1_2_beta2 then fomm version fomm_0_12_6-640 then ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated and activated it. After that i opened fomm and started loading and installing mods, in this order: 1. CRAFT (v. CRAFT125-4447), 2. CALIBR (v. CALIBR1_4-3447), 3. Darn UI (first i installed dui_f3a11 then dui_f3a11_HF( hotfix) then DarnUI_Support_for_FWE_6-02-2761 ), 4. FO3 Wanderers Edition ( FWE_Master_Release_6-0_-_Part_1-2761, FWE_Master_Release_6-0_-_Part_2-2761, FWE_6-03a_HOTFIX_PATCH-2761 ), 5. Weapon Mod Kits ( Weapon_Mod_Kits-3388 ), 6. Energy Visuals Enhanced (EVE_097_Beta_main-8340, EVE_-_Operation_Anchorage-8340), 7. Marts Mutant Mod ( Marts_Mutant_Mod_1-RC6_FOMOD-3211 ), 8. Fallout 3 Project Beauty HD ( HD_Version-_Recommended_version-6341, ESP_for_Project_Beauty-6341 - i just pasted this in Fallout3\Data Folder ), 9. Fallout Interoperability Program ( FOIP_-_EVE_and_FWE_6-01-4968, FOIP_-_Marts_Mutant_Mod_and_FWE_6-03-4968, FOIP_-_Project_Beauty_and_FWE-4968, FOIP_-_Weapon_Mod_Kits_and_FWE_6-03-4968 ). When installing Marts Mutant Mod I was prompted to select between two options: In-Game Menu and ESP configuration and i selected In-Game Menu.Then i arranged everything in fomm as recommended in FWE Master Release - Recommended Load Order. After that i installed FO3edit ( FO3Edit_2_5_3-637 ) and created a merged patch and added it on the list in fomm in last place of my load order, and tried to start the game from fomm and it crashes. No errors were reported in FO3edit as far as i can see. Alternate Travel.esp in fomm: "WARNING: This plugin has the file extension .esp, but its file header marks it as an esm!" That is the only plugin that reports an error like that. I can put the whole file from FO3edit if this is not enough or any other info. Thanks in advance. ChuckFlash Posted October 11, 2010 Share Posted October 11, 2010 Did you copy FO3edit twice MORE and rename one FO3MasterUpdate and the other FO3MasterRestore, then put them all in your FallOut main directory Not the Data Directory? It says you need to run Master Update each time you add to or change your load order. Also try resetting ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated after each addon or change to make sure all your mods got the right flag. Hope this helps ya...... Energy Visuals Enhanced (EVE_097_Beta_main-8340, EVE_-_Operation_Anchorage-8340), You need the .96 version, with the .96 important update in order to be compatible with the current FOIP.
