Tullerman Posted January 10, 2015 Share Posted January 10, 2015 You know when you hold your mouse over an item or sometimes even a treasure chest and you press E and activate the chest beside it or pick up the plate that delicious sweet roll was on?I know nothing about programming but my guess is that the player create that "field" around everything in his field of view or is that invisible field that tell the game what item you're looking at there all the time?It doesn't have any collision detection so I'm assuming it isn't actually there and therefor would it be possible to make a mid that make the player pick up and activate what they are looking at like in Oblivion and Morrowing, not just the object that is closer to the screen which is what often times happen.If the field is there around every object I understand it would be a huge shore to delete it on every object but I have a bunch of custom meshes and unless I just haven't paid attention to it I do think they have the same problem. (It's even more annoying when you accidentally steal something) PS. the treasure chest thing might have been a glitch with Jaxons Positioner but still.
