bben46
This is a Steam error and not from NMM. First guess - you need to start steam before trying to start the game - I have had this happen to me as well, and after reinstalling on a new computer It no longer happened - it started steam for me in the background. Steam believes that because you play games then that is all you do with your computer. And you absolutely need to have steam running on your computer all the time - and when you install Steam, it will try to set itself to autostart by default when you start your computer. If you have changed that default so Steam does not start until you want it to start ( as I have) it sulks and does childish errors. Like some obscure error code that could probably just as easily been made into a plain text message to start steam first.

RenaultFT
Unfortunately, I tried it and it doesn't work. Did I do something wrong? or can you give me another solution? When I run it through nexus it doesn't detect my steam folder. a lot of people are talking about it on steam forums but this is a nexus issue I believe. edit: it only affects games installed in a different directory than steam. Which is the case for me since I use a seperate drive just for steam and origin games. Edited January 21, 2015 by LawfulGray
