Mods not working

Hey guys

 

I have downloaded several oblivion mods from TES Nexus and installed them using OBMM.On the OBMM main screen it says all the mods are installed and activated but when i play Oblivion none of them are active.I am pretty new to using/installing mods but i followed a video on youtube (ill post the link below).The only mod i have downloaded that works is the Akatosh Dragon Mount.

 

I would like to get this resolved soon so if you know anything please post it here.

When you open OBMM the OMODs will be on the right side, and the esps will be on the left.

 

When you activate a OMOD, the block should turn from green to blue - AND an esp (if the mod has one - most do) will appear on the left side. There is a check box beside the esp. be sure it is checked.

 

If you have either Vista or Win7 you will have to deal with the UAC which blocks mods from working as it keeps any changes from being applied to any program installed in the Program Files folders.

 

Best solution for dealing with UAC is to completely uninstall the game and reinstall outside of the protected folders. I use C:\Games\Oblivion. If you have the steam version, you can reinstall the steam client outside to avoid UAC on all of your steam games - C:\Games\Steam
