zalabar
Looked around, but my Search Fu is yet weak. When I initiate dialogue with some NPCs, they'll give me a generic greeting, look at the camera, and produce the text box, but then dialogue closes. I can't actually ask questions work through quests as a result. This is only happening on mod created NPCs. Any ideas? Load order follows. BadPenney
Second, you have only about half the mods that your list could potentially hold. The most dependable way that I know of to get to the bottom of such mod issues is to become acquainted with the use of the mod FO3Edit. It will check any or all of your mods for errors that cause the sort of conflict that you describe. This is quicker and more reliable than trial and error disabling or casting out lines to forums hoping for informed readers to help. FO3Edit will also allow mod creators to check and clean their mods before uploading them, which it seems at least one of the creators of the mods in your list has not done. So if you find out which one is dirty, it is always a kind gesture to let the author of the mod know about it, if you are so inclined. Hopefully they will be appreciative of the heads up, and learn to use FO3Edit also.

Actually, after digging around a bit and practicing my search fu, it turned out the Carfort Mod (With Quests!) was the culprit. Disabled it, and no more generic greetings that go nowhere! Now they all say that the minutemen will inherit the wastes and I should go sign up. :wallbash: Mind you, I already use FO3Edit, have a merged patch running (36th in the series...) and have used it for Master Update. Somehow I missed that there's a manual, though.
