TheTeeMan
Hey. I have a little problem with my G.E.C.K. and I can't seem to find any solution for it. Okay, here I go: My G.E.C.K. crashes when i try to use the object palette, I use Windows 7 as OS. And my computer is more than good enough to handle it, so it's not a crappy computer problem :P
devilpengui
It could be because of windows 7, I can't tell since I don't have it. But you could try running the GECK in compatibility mode.
TooTwisted
In Windows 7 they say you need to run as adminstrator. If you create a shortcut to the GECK.EXE and go to the properties of the shortcut. On the shortcut tab click the Advanced... button and check the Run as administrator check box. Always launch the GECK from that shortcut and you will get prompted to run as administrator. The GECKReadme.TXT has the following in section 2. Limited user accounts will not be able to use the GECK. You must have administrative rights.
