Pressing interact causing character to pull out weapon?

Hi guys,

I recently ran into this problem where, whenever I interact with a chair, or a faucet, or a water valve, or basically anything that plays an animation.

My character will pull out a weapon and then sit down or interact. So say I want to sit in a chair, well unless I am unarmed and have my fists out, my character will sit down and pull out a weapon like a Fatman by default, or whatever I have equipped.

I'm not quite sure what's causing this problem, I tried google search and turned up nothing. So for the official DLC I have downloaded is The Pitt, Point Lookout, Broken Steel, and Operation Anchorage. I THINK this bug started appearing after I installed the DLC but I'm not sure. Is there a way to fix this in GECK? Or do I need to disable each mod I have installed in FOMM in order to find the culprit?

Hey,

first a question do you use other mods ? If ! You could try to find this stupid problem by activating one mod after another so first fallout 3 then the DLC´s and so on.

try to run them together or alone, maybe you find the mod who´s causing this problem.

If not the last action you could do is to reinstall all

 * i know its dumb but ist for emergency´s *

I do have a few other mods, but how do I get my DLC's into the FOMM launcher? See, when I downloaded the Pitt, Point Lookout, and Anchorage (my newest downloads) they don't show up in the FOMM launcher and I don't know how to import them.

I do have a variety of other mods like Project Beauty some animation ones and a few others. But, well if you could inform me on how to import the official DLC into FOMM, that would be great.

Were are the DLC´s ? are the in the main data folder ? if not this could be the problem with the FMM

otherwise were did you download them ? from the download tab from Fallout 3 itself ? Steam ? i bought them as DvD´s !please tell maybe we find the problem !

I can't find the DLC's that's the baffling part. I bought the fallout 3 DVD's and downloaded the DLC's using Game for Windows live. I'm not sure what directory GFWL placed my DLC's as I kept on trying to find them. I even typed The Pitt in my windows search but nothing turned up. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the DLC's causing the animation problems, because the other mods I have are mainly texture swaps or new meshes.
