Death from above

I am doing the mission death from above and have spoken to Scribe Rothchild he then tells me to stand infornt of the map, once i do that nothing happens, i go and talk to him and he keeps saying to stand in front of the map, how do i get him to continue with the story??

It's a workaround, but I've used it myself a few times and it does the job (unless something else is interfering with the mission updates).
