blacksupernova Posted October 13, 2010 Share Posted October 13, 2010 hi, i'm just wondering if there is any way to change game setting using script, like a spell to temporaly decreases spell cost by modifying fmagiccasterskillcostbase for a period of time?i tried: set fmagiccasterskillcostbase to 0.18, it's saved but it didn't work, nothing changed. any suggestion? Smooth613 Posted October 13, 2010 Share Posted October 13, 2010 You can absolutely change settings through scripts. Streamline is a perfect example. Many combat and magic mods utilize scripts to alter a players or NPCs skills, attributes, or behaviors. I suggest downloading a mod that does something along those lines and examine the code.
