Trigoras
Hi all, I felt like warming up for New Vegas by playing some Fallout 3, and had a question about the following:When doing the combined overhauls (like FOOK2 + MMM) people reccomend a merged patch through the Fallout3 Edit program, but I was wondering if Wrye Flash's (aka Garybash) could accomplish the same feat using the Bashed Patch feature. Will I need to use the Fallout3 Edit for a merged patch or will Wrye Flash do the same thing? I love Wrye Bash for Oblivion so I figured the same assortment of options will be appliedThanks for help in advance :)
GrindedStone
Depends mostly on which one you know how to use. Pretty much bashed patch an Merge Patch are the same thing. The arguement is that bashed goes into a little more detail maybe... pfft, same thing. In either case I wouldn't treat is as a fully automated process. Once it's created open the whole load order with the patch loaded too. Then view it to see if there are holes in the list or even conflicts.
