noctcrawler
I was in GECK looking at the specs for weapons in both 20th century weapons (mod) and FO3. I never saved any changes, but now when I go into my game, all of my weapons say they do 0 damage! What did I mess up and how do I fix it without having to reinstall everything? WastelandAssassin
well, first of all, don't panic!!if you start panicking, you end up doing more harm to yourself (or your game, in this case) i assume you have saved your gamejust load the game, go to the nearest place with something that you can kill, and try to use V.A.T.S. on that NPC\creaturesee if after hitting a few times, you still didn't do any damage also, load only the main file in GECK, and see if the weapons damage isn't set to 0 you see, sometimes the display on the pipboy shows wrong damage settingsbut i don't think you have messed up your game hope this helps :)
noctcrawler
So far, I have tried to fix it by "deactivating" and then "re-activating" 20th century (inside of FOMM), but that didn't fix it. Is that the same as uninstalling and the re-installing it? I just went just outside of Megaton and killed some stuff, so my weapons do still do damage. I guess I can keep playing with PipBoy messed up, but it's useful to see weapon damage for comparing weapons and such. So any suggestions on how to fix this? WastelandAssassin
well, if you still have the 20th Century Weapons files that you downloaded, just take the esp and put it in the data folder (replace the existing one)and if you have a FOMOD of that mod, just remake that FOMOD the thing is, the problem could be the esp of that mod, so just replace that file with an untouched version (i hope you understand what i mean, as it's hard to explain.....) noctcrawler
It's fixed. I "deactivated" both 20th Century and CALIBR, deleted them (in FOMM), and then re-installed them using the original source files. I did CALIBR too just in case; I couldn't remember if I had opened it up too in GECK or not.
