Preventing Essential NPC's getting their Weapons and Ammo looted?

Hi, hope this is posted in the right place,

 

Well, I have some custom followers from the shojo companion mod. (as well as sometimes useing npc and vanilla followers)

They are not very powerfull but are essential and use different weapons from the Apocalypse Armory mod, what I noticed is other

followers and Super-Mutants are constantley looting their ammo and weapons whenever they are uncontious :(

 

Dose anyone know any ways to prevent this other than makeing weapons non-playable and giveing them Fawkes-like Health?

any advice welcome as this is so fustrateing :dry:
