arrowinsen
I have input lag and want to disable Vsync, but when I run the launcher all the buttons except for "Elderscrolls.com" and "Exit" are greyed out...http://i.imgur.com/d0KGnwJ.png...so I cant access the Options and I can't disable Vsync from the in game options menu (the option for turning on/off Vsync doesn't exist). I do realize that the greyed out launcher is probably caused by missing game registry in windows since I've reinstalled my operating system and can be solved by reinstalling the game, but I don't want to find and reinstall all my mods. With all that said, my question is simply this: How can i disable Vsync from a config file? It has to be possible, but every google search I've done simply says "turn of Vsync". Morokura
In your Oblivion.ini file which is located in Documents/My Games/Oblivion find iPresentInterval=1 and set it to 0. Than save the file and give it a go. Edited January 20, 2015 by Morokura

I did searched Oblivion.ini for something like vSync, synchronize, frame smoothing, etc, but didn't find anything. iPresentInterval isn't exactly intuitive. Morokura
Yeah, "iPresentInterval" is quite abstract :D ...Glad it works, enjoy Oblivion :)
