Komnemnos
I am pretty new to the DA modding community. Can anyone recommend any popular and good mods?
XTR3M368
Opinions vary from person to person but here is a great place to start. It has the top 100, top 25....both in the last 2 weeks and most endorsed new mods, it has both adult and non adult filters. I would start there. This link will give you the most popular to go through.http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/top/
Komnemnos
I have gone through the list. But are there any compatible mods or popular mod lists that a lot of people use??
XTR3M368
Not really....the problem with that kind of a list is that it would be specific to the individual releasing it. The top 100 is the list you requested basically and it is the best comprehensive list because it is from everyone, not just one person. Compatibility is an ongoing issue that someone who mods their game will always have to be vigilant with. I have mods that I had to "tweak" because they conflicted with other mods I have...but I want them both so some work is involved. Other people simply just choose one or the other. Asking a generic question will get lists of how they like it, not necessarily how you will like it. I guess a better question you could ask is "I like playing <insert the way you like to play>", "I want to be able to do this to <items, armor, weapons, NPCs, ect>" and "I like <insert lore type, custom type, or vanilla type models, weapons, ect>" That way people can direct you towards specific mods that YOU will like, not what THEY like for themselves. Different people play differently...sometimes WILDLY differently so trying to find others that have tastes close to yours will be your best bet. Thandal
Use the "Search Box" at the top right of every screen to look in these forums, (especially the "General" ones) for the term "good mods". You'll get several hits that have pretty detailed info and various "this is what I like" lists. (Be sure to select the "Search this forum" option from the drop down, and search in each one separately. Nexus doesn't have the most user-friendly Search utility.) XTR3M368
You can also use the "browse categories" of the "Files" section on the main page, choose your category (i.e. armor) and then set the "organize" to either "downloads" or "endorsements", then DESC. This will re-order them from most to least so that the most popular or most downloaded ones are listed top to bottom.
Komnemnos
What patches do you recommend??
Thandal
The patches are inclusive, so 1.04 (the current) has everything from before. No need to track down the others. 1.04 is also REQUIRED to play the two most recent DLC. (And 1.03 is required for the two before that.) Some few people have reported specific problems with certain mods under 1.04, (particularly those that affect "Tactics") but I've been running it since the day it came out. If you're having Crash-to-Desktop (CtD) problems on a 3+GB system, I do recommned (and use) the "FO3 Large Memory Area Flag" fix.
Komnemnos
After I installed Dragon Age redesigned I could not play the game because it kept on saying could not detect supported video card. This also occurred after uninstalling DA redesigned.

Then run the "Config" option from the splash screen menu to force Dragon Age to do a re-scan of your system.
