Drazius
Hey all, I converted a few of Dimon's Type 3 bodies to be usable in Oblivion (I used the Slim type, and am halfway done with the Cali body) but I am having one problem. The body works great, it animates well and looks amazing with the (almost seamless) texture. But some weighting is messed up on the inner thighs, very near the pelvic region. It is mainly noticeable during stretched leg poses like one handed idles, or sneaking animations. I have tried re-weighting the area multiple times, and it seems to either make it worse or not change anything at all. The only regions that it should be using are Bip01 Thigh.R and Thigh.L, and Bip01 Pelvis. But again, whenever I touch one of these areas the problem is still there! And it's really upsetting me because the rest of the body moves pretty nicely and without issues... Anyways, if there is someone out there who is like, really good at weight painting (by hand, not using a BWC script) please let me know. Thank you. :) Oh and I would post pics but it's pretty self explanatory I think. But if you need some, let me know! *Nevermind I fixed it. Stupid me, I accidentally had weighted the opposite leg on accident and didn't see it (When weighing the right thigh, I accidentally painted the left thigh slightly. Derp derp.) Mods, you can delete this thread please, if you see this. Oh and I'm going to ask Dimon for permission to release this for Oblivion, so if I can contact him then you should see it pretty soon.
