Is this a good build for a computer?

I've read a couple of reviews for that video card, and a few people said they had problems, but other than that the majority of the reviews are good.

So, some advice?

 

I'm looking for a $800-$1000 price range, and this fits perfectly.

A few points though.

 

1: Why did you chose the 5770? If you are not planning on getting crossfire a gtx460 would be better value for money.

AMD will announce the 6870 on October 22 so you should wait for that.

 

2: Why did you choose the old chipset, The new chipsets have sata 6GB/s and usb 3.0

Wanna explain to me exactly what crossfire is and how to take advantage of it?

Essentially crossfire and SLi (nvidia's varient) is basically two, three, or four compatible graphics cards (compatible cards are usually identical models, e.g 2 5770's) running in synchronisaton in games that support the technology. Card 1 would render the top half of the screen whereas card 2 would render the bottom half, theoretically doubling framerate. You need to have an adequate powersupply and a motherboard that has support for SLi or Crossfire to be able to use the technology. Personally I wouldn't recommend it, I would advise getting the best single GPU rather than 2 weaker ones to make up the slack.
