Anyone interested in this mod Idea

I'm just brainstorming ideas for my first mod. I think it would be pretty cool to bring back the Nazi Party to take over a secret New Vegas Science facility to use its secrets for uber bad nazi stuff. I would also like to use these resources (because I cant model / texture for garbage)

Yes, because we don't have enough Nazis to kill in our video games already. :whistling:

 

But well, killing some Nazis could be a fun diversion even if it is a bit lore unfriendly, so if it's something you'd like to make, then go for it. ;)

 

If you can avoid making it too serious and instead focus on satirical, wacky fun, then I might actually be interested. But if it's just going to be a run-of-the-mill defeat the bad guys type of thing, then count me out.

Even though there's no mention of nazism in the original lore I don't think it necessarily has to be lore unfriendly. People discover, embrace and try to spread Nazism to this day still in real life(neo-nazism). And just like The Legion recycles ideals and ideas from ancient Rome it's not that unbelievable that somebody would have done the same with Nazism. Even though I personally think Nazism feels completely alien to Fallout I think someone could make it work as a mod. Maybe this time instead of focusing their hate on jewish people they could be persecuting Ghouls?

 

You could do something like the Golden Dawn(Greek Far-Right/Neo-nazi political party) has done and design a new logo that obviously is designed from and resembles the Nazi Swastika and not call them Nazis right out but make it obvious that it's where they got their inspiration and ideals from it. That would integrate a bit better if you want to consider lore-friendliness, I think.

I agree with this. Doesn't have to be too blatantly wacky, but wacky and ironic in the same spirit that so many other things are in Fallout.
