Xiras
Hi there! I've played F3 for ages, but one thing always annoyed me. Want to play a stupid brute with a minigun? With 1-2 Int? Great, you will be a complete moron, to stupid to even put on your shoes. Great. Int is the by far strongest SPECIAL-Stat and I think it is quite unbalanced, so:1. Could anyone link me a good tutorial for GEEK?2. Is it easy/hard to mod the skill-points you get per LVL-Up/Int or is anyone planing to make such a mod?Greetings
Xiras
Ok, I may haven't been clear in my statement, but I was about New Vegas ... I wantet to solve this certain problem for NV before I start to play. So ... NEW VEGAS!!!
Lingwei
I assume by GEEK you mean GECK. It's quite simple. When you load the esm in the GECK go to the gameplay menu, select settings, find the setting called ilevelupskillpointsinterval and ilevelupskillpointsbase. You can change ilevelupskillpointsinterval to increase the number of skill points you get for each intelligence point. E.g changing it from 1 to 2 means that you will get 2 extra skill points for each point of intelligence. The ilevelupskillpointsbase setting determines how many skill points you get regardless of intelligence. So if you set it at 5 you will only get 5 points in addition to how many points you earn from intelligence. I'm not sure from your comments whether you wanted to get more points for each point of intelligence or less. If you want to make intelligence stronger then raise the ilevelupskillpointsinterval setting and lower the ilevelupskillpointsbase setting. If you want to make intelligence less important then increase the ilevelupskillpointsbase setting. Those settings require integers (in other words whole numbers) so you can't lower the ilevelupskillpointsinterval below 1 (otherwise it will have to be 0). Let me know if there is anything that you don't understand.
Xiras
Wow, I really thank you for your help! Basically I will set the points gained from INT to zero and the basepoints to 15. I always play a "scientific" charakter, with higher INT, I just don't like to feel like I have to put INT up to 10. Thank you very much for your help.
