akiray
I'm not sure if this is fook related(though i'm almost %100 sure it is), but all the plasma weapons have these weird textures that keep changing. If you guys want me to post my load order or pics so you can pinpoint what's wrong I'll be sure to do so.
Eiries
Weird textures changing (kinda like this) means that the game isn't finding the textures, undoubtedly because they're not in the right spot. It could very well be FOOK, which includes EVE with it. EVE edits all of the plasma weapons in some way, and does a lot of texture replacing. Check your directories to make sure everything's in place. FOOK can be a bit of a challenge to install correctly. If you're not sure how to check directories, the check out FOOK2's setup page for detailed installation instructions. Here is their load order page, although, like I said, it's almost guaranteed to just be a texture issue.
akiray
A pic here - http://i55.tinypic.com/n6rp1v.jpgWouldn't installing eve separately be far easier to make it work? I'm kinda lazy to look at all the directories, and if it helps, I installed the .exe version of fook, now I kinda get the feeling i should've done it manually. Strangely enough this seems to happen with the Norynco type 56 rifle. Oh and it's the v1.0 ver
anokii
FOOK2 v1.0 is buggy as and incomplete - if you want to run FOOK2 your going to have to do some work (but well worth it IMO). Go here; http://www.yourfook.com/downloads/ and here (AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS): http://www.fookunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4212 and then the latest hot fixes from here: http://www.fookunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4307 and no - don't install mods that are already included with a mod - it will stuff it.
