Help with load order

Hi everyone,

 

I just did a clean install of FO3: GOTY and thought I'd add a few mods (see below). I have used these mods before, but my old saves were getting buggy due to the number of mods I had, hence the clean install.

In my eagerness to get all the mods on I did not check to see if each one was working before installing the next one and now my fallout crashes at the first "please wait" screen. I have checked to make sure that all the .esms are there for each file (and I'm pretty sure they are) I also have the FOIP files and I have made a merged patch using FO3Edit. I don't know what I'm missing here, but any help would be really appreciated, thanks.

Do you know which version of MMM your running? I remember seeing some discussions here where v6.0 (I think) was buggy and people were being told to wait for 6.1 (again only going from memory so please check).

 

Custom race mods have been mentioned several times in regards to causing issues - try disabling and starting the game again.

Dear Friend;

I see your load order and mine are close with exception of MMM which I have never been able to resolve issues with. Just don't load it anymore. XP32 or Win7 64, the game either crashes to desktop or freezes when in the middle of light show firefight or being flamed. Head scratcher because in normal game play, it is rock solid and can go for hours without a hitch.

What caught my attention the other night was that when trading tech with the outcasts after leaving the car dealership and, after fighting with the EVE gutsy with the shield near Fort Independance, then beaming to the Fort for trading that the game either crashed outright, could not be saved or fast travel crashed it??? Took out the extended options for EVE and everything worked well again. P.S. Had the same problem when being flamed or putting down the crazed Lieutenant Gutsy at the Deathclaw Sanctuary. That worked for about three days and then the whole jewel of a situation started over again. Pulled EVE out completely which I hated to do because it is awesome for fireworks but. . . No more problems. I do not believe it is EVE itself but one of the other mods that doesn't play well with the expanded EVE graphics.

Before anyone comments, my card is an Nvidia 460 superclocked which has been further red lined and runs almost cold in a well ventilated case. 8gigs of memory in Win7, 3.25PAA in XP. Processor is a 955 running at 3.6, also cooled to spec on a premium Asus board. Monitor refresh is 2ms. at native res. I do believe that if you also pull EVE out or disable it, the game will hum along as it is supposed to. Between you and I, one by one, one of us is going to have to chuck mods until we find the one that doesn't like to share the sandbox.
