kryoos
Before you ask, yes, I've read/followed the installation instructions for NMM. Yes, I read the FAQ. I disabled my antivirus for 10 minutes to reinstall it, still get this issue. I double clicked the patcher and tried it as admin, still no help. This is the error I get when I run it. The FAQ says that it could be my antivirus causing it, or an incomplete installation."Error 53 (File not found): You probably have an incomplete installation -> Re-Install FNIS Behavior. If the problem persist then then this can be caused by an AntiVirus program giving a fals positive (WebRoot and SuperAntiSpyware have caused a lot of trouble in the past). Deactivate your AV during FNIS installation." FNIS Behavior V5.2 1/16/2015 6:54:57 PMSkyrim: 1.9.32.0 - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ (Steam)ERROR(53): File not found. abrb2011
I suggest using Mod Organizer rather than NMM. I also suggest following a guide for properly setting up a good Skyrim foundation on which to mod. The little details are very important. For instance, just having your Skyrim installed in it's default installation folder can cause problems for many would-be modders due to permission conflicts, EVEN if you've made the folder not read-only and run as administrator.Modding Beginner's Guide Maybe not the direct answer to your issue but will probably help in the long run. When updated last. Unfortunaltely the error comes without a filename from the OS, but the problem is with GenerateFNIS_for_Users/hkxcmd.exe. Make sure you remove this manually before you re-install FNIS with the AV deactivated. Because some of the "dumb" AVs simply remove the execution rights, but leave the files where they are.
