jwyouth
wen i place creatures on custom map using g.e.c.k. they runaway from me when i encounter them ingame. they also do not run with intention they run in a straight line away from me, not to the side, not at an angle, even if that means running continuously into a wall even if there is a door right next to them. if i strafe to change my angle they will adjust so the are running directly away from me. i have made mods before and have never had this happen. iif i place a ranged attack creature they will look at me until i touch them then they will attack but never move or give chase. GrindedStone
Uh... is there a navmesh? Then you could try placing a vanilla NPC or creature an see what those do. There's many settings for creatures which effect AI . If you wanted a better look at it use FO3 edit an take a look at either the vanilla game or some of the MMM creatures. This could be package related too. There's like 10,000 packages (AI packages) which Npc's get added to this one or that one.
jwyouth
i'm adding default creatures and hostile people to a custom map without changing any ai package. when i add them to a vanilla location the same thing is happening also. I will try to open or start a new file and see what happens when i add them but i would hate to lose all the work i have put into this map.
