debbiepuff
Hi, Does anyone know where I can find that tutorial on recreating Starfang and the Warden Commander Armor in the toolset? Thanks!
debbiepuff
No? Does anyone know how to do it?
Thandal
(Word to new user; bumping your own thread, especially after less than 24 hrs, is not a good idea on these forums. That said...) I can think of two methods you might consider: 1. "DLC in Awakening Fix" is a script that creates the proper DA:A entries for DA:O's DLC bonus items. Can't remember if Starfang is one of them though... 2. Search the Modding forums for the terms: "Awakenings", "DLC", "items", to find the instructions for editing the table that assigns which items are "available" in which DA modules. debbiepuff
Sorry didn't mean to annoy anyone. Thanks for the help.
RustyBlade
Adding the Awakenings fix is not going to get Wardens Keep items into the toolset. Getting Starfang and the Warden Commander's set in the toolset cannot be done. You can make them in-game with the Winter Forge and alter its properties there but it's not happening in the toolset. There are numerous rants to be found on the subject.
Thandal
@RB; Thx! I was going to suggest "TWF" as well, but couldn't remember if it worked in DA:A or not... [Edited to provide update info] Just started a brand-new game of DA:A, and Imported my Warden. Starfang appeared in my inventory right at the start WITH all the runes I had applied in DA:O. Side note: I was nekkid! o_O Well, I had on my helm, gloves, and boots. But the Battledress of the Provocateur, which I had been wearing at the end of DA:O, had been taken off and stored in my inventory. Don't know if the fix to correctly receive Starfang was the mod, or the 1.04 patch, since I have both installed. debbiepuff
Thanks RustyBlade! I'm just bummed. I had followed a vid tutorial on how to add WK armor and Starfang months ago and then just the other day I had to reinstall everything and now they're gone - and the video is gone :( I'm just creating cutscenes for a video I've been working on it's got nothing to do with gameplay so the Winter Forge doesn't really work for me. Oh well. Thanks again!
RustyBlade
There is an Awakenings bug that causes one of the expansion's swords to look like Starfang so if you have AW working in your toolset it is the [gxa] sword that is listed there. You're SOL on the armor though.
Thandal
Just reminding that I *do* have Starfang, by name, in my latest re-start of DA:A. It showed up directly in my imported-from-Origins Warden's inventory, complete with the correct runes. No "TWF", or direct editing of .gxa files. :whistling:
