Thandal
Thanks for all the help - I will try all this after work is done (got to make a living...), and let you know. Specs are Intel Core 2 quad cpu Q9550@2,83GHz, clock speed 2832 MHz. Memory: 4 GB. Vista 32. Regards, Bits01System looks perfectly capable. I would think the problem lies either in the path certain things are in, or in not being patient enough when first "installing" nbaio under DAMM. I unpack nbaio into my: "...\Bioware\Dragon Age\ packages\core\override\mods\override" folder (NOTE: I created the special sub-folder: "mods", for everything DAMM-related, including the program itself.) Its icon now appears in the collection of .dazips and .overrides that DAMM recognizes as being in their appropriate sub-folders. I then right-click on nbaio, and choose "install". Takes a looooooong time, (and I have a quad-core @2.4GHz with 8GB of RAM. )
bits01
.....not patient enough! I thought things went wrong when 'does not respond' appeared. Then I always closed the manager down. Thanks again! Looks great. One more question: how do I know which clothing or armour files are compatible with this mod before downloading? I would like to have the 'sexy mage robes all in one', but when using that in the manager it says 'not compatible'. In the pdf that came along with that mod (and a nice pdf to I must say) the guy/girl had both mods installed... How can that be?Also: when you can not use de manager how do you install the mods? I hope you can give me some answers to this as well - although I'm asking a lot. But all those files look so tempting... Hope you can help me get started one more time. If not - I am still happy! Thandal
You are trying to use DAMM for ALL your mods. It only handles a certain (relatively small) number of specifc types. See the second post here: Using DA Mods for Dummies
