Some quick observations

Just wanted to post some quick observations of mine (that you may or may not already have figured out)

so far all original FO3 ini edits seem to be working just as they were in FO3, all the threaded values work (see: dont crash game)

the shader file renaming trick for SM3.0 still works as it did in FO3 (look at the sun farther down in the POC image)

the archive invalidation methods work the same, using the ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa and ini value

nothing seems to have been changed in the way BSA files work, as the FO3 Archive Utility has no problems opening them up.

It looks as if at least some textures were reused from FO3, so things like road textures (assuming they are still in the same folder structure and name) and other materials from high res texture packs should work "out of the box"

a quick POC (proof of concept) image, showing archive invalidation at work:

EDIT: one more image, showing the "out of box" high res texture support from FO3 texture packs:

Again, most of you should, or probably do know this, but this post should still be useful to people not quite sure whats been changed, and how it affects modding
