This error message is generated whenever the file or image cannot be successfully handled by the site. Reasons can range from "too large", to "not one of the acceptable formats", to "invalid characters in the file name", to "incomplete info in the required fields for the submission".

All I can say is that thousands of users are able to upload files to these sites daily.

I'd look at file size, name, and fornat fiirst.

(Also, I'm not sure what restrictions there might be on "guest" vs "registerd" vs "premium" users. )

Ahhhh, it might be the infamous "In-Game Screenshots aren't in a Standard Format" problem.

The way DA saves the screencaps, it adds "game-point info" to the file. If you simply renamed an in-game shot, you'll need to open it with another program (MS-Paint works fine) and RE-save the file in any of the allowed formats (jpg, png, etc.)

Hope this helps.

You may want to try removing the _ from the file name. Do not use punctuation, apostrophes, etc in the file name, title or caption. Do what you wish in the description. The image share and file uploads tend to barf on anything other than numbers or letters.
