Kumpao
Hello everybody! I am currently downloading FoNV and im hoping to be playing it (and modding it) soon  I see a lot of people are already talking about the possibilities to use Fo3 mods in NV. So far from what i've seen here it doesn't seem to be hard. I was thinking of the possibilities of porting FOOK FWE and WMK to NV (assuming such features have not been included into the game itself) when I though "Hell, why not port ALL of Fo3 to New Vegas?" First and foremost I do understand i'm talking about a TITANIC task to be done, however it might be simpler that expected depending on how similar are the two games. For all I know NV might just accept the map data from Fo3 at least partially , from then on it would only be a matter of cleaning the rough edges. As for how to get there, The Nexus already provides a mod witch addresses this though I can't remember it's exact name(Excuse me I modded Fo3 long ago) You might ask why? If the process is relatively simple it would be a great way of effectively doubling available content in the game. As a cosmetic mater, the Capital Wasteland must have changed in five years , though that can be left for modular add on to a core mod. Im just dropping the idea here, please mod wizards tell m if can be done!

Hmmm....interesting, kind of like Morroblivion, but it should be easier to do, hyperthetically speaking due to the engine version not being that much older. I would love to play DC under the new (or should I say nodded to classic) New Vegas rules. I have been a massive Falout fan since the original way back when and although I did/do enjoy 3, it seemed to lack a lot of what NV has and I can't help but be more excited about NV which does seem to re-capture a LOT of the old feel of the franchise, perhaps such a port could help set the record straight for other gamers that share this sentiment. Drag00n123
It would be cool if Beth released this as part of the new NV DLC. Would save a lot of potential legal trouble that will inevitably happen between the two games due to mods. I seriously doubt though
graymaybe
This would also be like Morroblivion in that it's illegal, and would be shut down at some point by Bethesda.
BEArbiter
Morroblivion is not Illegal at all. Uploading Ported Stuff are Illegal if you include data from the Original game.Bethesda still not making laws(hopefully).Morroblivion is Forbidden here cause the site owner don't want trouble with bethesda, as simple as that. For the same reason, Discussing Porting From Game to game is Forbidden here. Do not Ask again or the Evil Site owner will banish you.
Kazakovich
Or rather, the Site Owner that Would Rather Like to Avoid Unneccesary Lawsuits. Simple as that, as you say.
BEArbiter
Lawsuits, for what? for hosting Code not owned by bethesda, that is Absurd.Let me remind you that this is a piece of software. And just convert Morrowind data to Oblivion Format. If you are bound by a licence (that forbid this action) you legally Agreed to, and can't use The piece of software to convert Original Morrowind Data.if you do,you are doing Illegal suff. The program itself is Legal, and Hosting it too. that's why the Author of the program didn't get any Problem, and why you still can legaly found it on the web. Drag00n123
I don't think its because of lawsuits, its just Bethesda doesn't like it.. and they won't like anyone who hosts it.
Khet
Actually, a port of any kind (from one Bethesda game or another, or from any game to a Bethesda game) is a violation of their own ToS. If you hand-crafted everything in the "add FO3 to NV" that'd be fine. Porting, however, is not allowed.
