So, I've been thinking, if somone were to strip down fallout 3, take all the quest lines out and heavily mod some dialogue options, would it be possible to link the 2 games together? It could result in a whole new vast land where the NV player could meet the lone wanderer and do some side by side quests. Would that violate copyright terms, or if you bought the original would it be ok?

Already been discussed, Bethesda would go bat s*** crazy, and it will end up like morroblivion

Your unfortunately right my friend, but they are still working on Morroblivion it just isn't on the Nexus anymore

Would that violate copyright terms

Doing it for yourself, and only yourself on you own system - no.

Packing the thing up and distributing it - yes.

Consider the amount of work it would require. The time, effort and technical skill needed to do it correctly, and it's just not worth it because you're the only one going to be able to use it.

to be honest, you would be better off creating another large scale mod that contains new locations and content if you have that sort of time and ability. Perhaps use one of the untouched areas already on the game map and drop a settlement or something there for people to explore and interact with.
