rwc4va
Has anyone else had issue with gamespot online pre-orders? I have had New Vegas on pre-order since April(but I have been playing Fallout since '97). I didn't receive it yesterday. When I called corporate to find out what was going on-they tell me they shipped it to an old address I had changed from in January. They also tell me they won't refund the money for it. When I asked if I could pick it up at my local retail location, they denied that as well. Essentially they have told me that I will have to wait for the people at my old address to send it back(presuming that they don't sign for it); then they will send it to my current address. When I have tried to speak with a supervisor the line hangs during transfer. At this point I am told that I will have to wait 7-10 days(or longer) for my copy to arrive, or buy another copy. Any suggestions on how to handle this? Or am I just going to have to subjugate myself to them?
csgators
You could ask the credit card company to refund your money since you never received the product.
rwc4va
That's true. I hadn't even thought of that. Thanks!
drawsome
That's true. I hadn't even thought of that. Thanks! Yeah if they decide to do something about it, tell them to go pound sand.Seriously thats complete BS, and a horrible way to treat your customers. You seem to be handling it better than I would though.
Madae
Well, did you not change the address? You can't fault them for that and sending it to an older address - that's on you. And I don't blame them for not refunding it, because you really can't prove that you didn't get it. That's just my 2 cents, though. They can't read minds.
