Bladerting Posted October 20, 2010 Share Posted October 20, 2010 I just found out that New Vegas have the same console issue as in fallout 3! when you play with the biggest Resolution the console dissapear in the Corner and for some reason they don't allow me to modify the file to fix this! iConsoleTextXPos=30 to iConsoleTextXPos=200 Sorry for my poor english i live in Canada. biohazard388 Posted October 20, 2010 Share Posted October 20, 2010 I've heard rumors that Steam might be reverting files back to their original state upon the next run of the installation files. So you change the files, then run steam to play the game, and it reverts the files to what they were before the change, effectively restoring the settings how they were, and deleting your changes. Now, keep in mind, I don't know that to be true, as I haven't tried it, but I've heard some people claim that that is happening. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Delusibeta Posted October 21, 2010 Share Posted October 21, 2010 If it's not letting you save (as in, "This file is read-only" errors), right click the file, enter Properties and uncheck "Read-only".
