jimsippo
Hey guys. I've been trying to add new custom weapons in game using blender, GIMP2 and nifscope and I thought a good way to learn would be to edit the existing model of my favourite weapon - the hunting rifle and make it a bit less beaten up. I'm at the point where I have the model in the construction set and the textures all seem to work (I'm using the original ones). I can place the rifle in the game and it appears all right when it's on the floor but when it is equipped it reverts back to the original model. Any idea what I've missed doing? Thanks for reading. To get to this bit, go to the World Objects tab of the Object Window in the GECK, then Static, then Weapons and change one of the existing one's model and ID. Use this in the weapon's 1st person model box in the Items tab, and it SHOULD work.
jimsippo
Cheers Chazzerman I had it briefly in the game then but only with the low rez textures, I tried to change it in Nifscope but I've broken the whole thing now. Back to the drawing board.
