brolol404
I definitely will stay close to this project! The screenshots are looking good! Something to add:Do not make the monsters too powerful (if there are plenty of them) as many players quit from frustration. Alternatively you could try to keep the spawn to a minimum but with very powerfull monsters - the player will keep looking after them since he/she will propably die if they meet. Like this the player lives in a constant fear but without much frustration from permanent deaths. The well known game "Slender" did this kind of thing. (I prefer this idea)I appreciate the feedback and suggestions. I will most likely attempt to provide a combination of those two scenarios (few large powerful terrifying monsters in some areas and lots of weak monsters in other areas to overwhelm the player create uncertainty and a constant state of fear). The idea is to avoid everything but will be forced into situations that the player can unexpectedly handle. my goal is not to create frustration or auto death zones. I will keep this in mind as I work on the areas. thanks,
Derok
Hello, I'm a big fan of dark fantasy and mysterious settings. This project looks a mix between Dark Souls and Silent Hill. I like that! But since the lack of gothic/horror themed mods, expecially armors and weapons, would you like something like this? http://i.imgur.com/atzsc9K.jpgIt's from a project I'm making. I like it. If you could somehow make AI for a vampire/werewolf/dark monster that actually hides in the dark with glowing eyes, making haunting sounds... that would be AWESOME!And for the small monsters, skeletons and zombies are cliche, but they work. Don't give them weapons though, maybe make them look at the environment for a weapon? Like have 2 attack you, front and behind, while a 3rd looks for a weapon?Remember, use sudden flying bats overhead for some jump-scares :)

Derok
That looks very Witcher inspired. I like it.It is in fact an historical viking chaimail with some metal plates but old looking. Not sure what makes this Witcher inspired but there may be some inspiration for the future stuff I'll make.
