Deleted17806019User
Hey there people! Does anyone have an issue that none of grass mods are working? NONE. I tested Verdant, Glorius Grasses, SFO too. Only SFO works, but not as usual - the grass was less dense (Before reinstalling Skyrim on new ssd, SFO works fine.) I have tested all of ini tweaks that mod description contains.... with no result. Grass just don't like me... My Skyrim is not heavy moded - because it's fresh install I've started with flora mods, so now I have only istalled skse 1.7.2, skyui, fps counter, race menu, and thats all... Och, and that ^/#&@* grass which grows on the moon probably, because i can't see it on the ground! I was thinking maybe this SKSE 1.7.2 beta version hides my new grass? Or maybe it's a sign to go full winter Skyrim? Damn... but I want that grass badly! I wanna hide in bushes and do nasty things!* To be clear: this poor, vanilla grass is growing correctly in game. * - screenshots of course

Project579
Make sure the .ini are set in the right way: Skyrim.ini: [Grass]iGrassCellRadius=2bAllowCreateGrass=1bAllowLoadGrass=0bGrassPointLighting=1b30GrassVS=0iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=15 ; <--- set it to 3 if you're not using SFO or other textures. unique grasses users set it to 8. for Tamriel Reloaded Grass - Plants set it to 15;15 for Verdant.iMinGrassSize=60 ; <--- lower values - denser Grass but greater impact on performance, Grass on Steroids user set it to 75 for best look, 120 for best performance; 60 to 70 for Verdant. SkyrimPrefs.ini[Grass]b30GrassVS=0fGrassStartFadeDistance=9000.0000fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=9000.0000fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=400.0000 Some grass mods have override of .ini make sure one of them is not changing some values (for example Unique Grasses). Xenahkiin
I found a solution for missing grass that worked for me. Just to mention, I'm playing Skyrim LE on Linux, and am using Vortex.Anyway, I found Vortex's and Skyrim's launcher's load order don't match. Skyrim's launcher made an order of its own, ignoring Vortex, and it was the culprit for the missing grass. It was putting the mods' .esps higher up on the list instead of lower, thus letting something else to override the grass mods. It was doing the same thing with my SkyUI. So, I put my grass mods after everything else in Skyrim's launcher under DATA tab, and voila, I got all the grass.I'm using Unique Grasses and Groundcovers, combined with Flower Fields.Hope this helps.Cheers
Skyrocket55
Hey! I found a fix to mine, and I honestly felt really stupid when I figured it out. I had a few different grass mods that I tried, none of them worked out, I was starting to get frustrated at the fact that my load order was perfectly fine, and my grass mods were still not working..Even higher/lower in the list. I even threw them all the way at the top, rearranged them, etc. Nada. Here is a fix that helped me, because it was honestly the most frustrating thing on the planet. FIRST: You know that bar in game settings that adjusts fade distance? set it to MAX all the way to the right. if that doesn't work, then do this. I swear to god I am that idiot sometimes. MO2 FIX:File drop down menu, open INI's folder, open Skyrim.ini. (OPEN THEM THIS WAY THROUGH MO2)Make sure your grass values are set to very high, as such: [Grass]bAllowCreateGrass=1bAllowLoadGrass=0fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=17500.0000fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0000 Do the same thing for Skyrimprefs.ini: [Grass]fGrassStartFadeDistance=17500.0000fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=17500.0000fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0000 IMMEDIATELY my tundra grass went from barren wasteland to lush. Why my 'Loadgrass' value is zero, I'm not sure. But I assume that its the vanilla grass? It still works. My flora mods: FolkvangrMari's FloraSkyrim Floral Overhaul (for the trees)Tamrielic Textures LandscapesNoble SkyrimLandscape Fixes for Grass Mods Edited July 5, 2022 by Skyrocket55
Tsewe
Hey guys thanks for the tips, it helped me to get the grass back on.However I still have lots of grass on roads especially near Falkreath with Origins of the Forest. Any idea how to reduce it a bit?
