Question about the Equal Love Mod

I tried installing the equal love mod but when i start the game , the people there still treat my female character like a girl,,, i thought they supposed to treat me like a boy ??

"EqualLove" just removes the gender-specific RESTRICTIONS on which NPCs are romanable by the PC. It does NOT change the PC's gender. So a SheWarden can romance Morri, and a HeWarden can romance Alistair, that's all.

This results in some funny uses of the "wrong" personal pronoun in various dialogues and Party Banters, but the main plot flags get set and story points are referenced correctly, only as if the PC were the appropriate (other) gender as far as that specific NPC's "relationship status" coding is concerned.

yep, yep...

It is a great mod if you want to be able to "spread the love". If you use it in conjunction with "polygamy", you can romance all 4 vanilla romance-able companions at the same time. Human Nobles also can get some cross gender marriage options later. *winks* It also opens up some interesting cross gender dialogue options throughout for sure. Changing some of the "conversations" would involve editing the "movie" parts of the game and would have taken a LONG time lol.....so the little personal pronoun slips are a small price to pay IMO.

not my fault if the mod spells it incorrectly. The author can name their mods however they want. It works good though so it's all good. Polygamy is the correct spelling....Freudian slip there by me there I guess.

Exactly. I was just providing the OP with the info to successfully search for the MOD, not the practice!
