My Mod Idea - TFM

Not sure if this is the right section, if not sorry

First off i'd just like to say I have never made my own mod before but am eager to learn and do it.

I just want to hear some peoples opinions.

The idea i had was a quest mod, which first of all expands Novac, adding at least 4 new locations to the town, including the thing it has always lacked the most: A bar

The main plot will revolve around a familiar name, Patrick Moriarty, the foul mouthed owner of Moriarty's. Originally a traveller from outwest. It will centre around his rivalry with Casino owner "Mojo" in a violent turf war.

Of course there are a few extra quests and backstories to discover as well, and a whole new companion.

As I said, trial and error for the most part, though hopefully with enough time and effort I can get it looking presentable.

That said I have nothing anywhere near presentable as of yet. I'm merely checking whether or not anyone would be interested in this idea and whether it's worth me doing it.

I'm also checking how willing anyone would be in helping me as far as modelling goes. I'm pretty shoddy in that department, and while I'm in no major need of models it would be good to know if there are people out there who can help with that.

I do hope to have something out by, at least summer, if only for help play testing.

If all goes well I hope to expand into a larger series which will introuduce several new companions, fully voiced, with their own fleshed out quests. The series as a whole is called "Tales From Moriarty's" (or TFM) with the bar acting as a central hub throughout which all of the storylines play out.

The companions will be a mix of slapstick and serious, with some charcters coming out of other established series and others being entirely original. Some will fit entirely within the world of Fallout, while others aren't really meant too.

It's all basicaly super-ambitious stuff, and I have no idea how it will all work out, but I really like it and want to make it work.

I don't want to say everything I hope to do, but basically the extra stories will revolve around the following:

 

Original chars

A tribal warrior

A forgotten Paladin

A broken Trooper

A vengeful woman

A fellow wanderer

 

Established

A fallen Knight

A pair of Delinquents

A man torn apart

 

Anyway I just wanna know if anyone likes the idea, if this is any good, or even worth bothering with. As I said I have nothing to show as of now, but hopefully I'll be able to update this time next month with something to show. Like I said just want some opinions.
