soot00
*Has over 1k hours of vanilla Fo3 logged*I actually have more since I prefer it without mods. It's rather pathetic that people have to reply on mods to enhance gameplay. LOL, your lossI don't see how it's my loss. If I find the Vanilla game to be better un-modded then so be it. LOL like I said your loss. Glad you enjoying vanilla game though
Liquidacid23
hey if you can buy a single game and get 1000 hours of fun out of it that's great... most games are lucky to last me 10 or 20 hours, so 1000 hours on a vanilla game seems insane to me.. hell I can't even put that much time into an MMO let alone a single player game
Pineapplerum
I play the vanilla version of any game until I'm sick silly with it but I don't finish the main quest if it's going to end the game. Then I start modding the crap out of it to keep it alive and fresh.

I just can't imagine on my 5th new character playthru that I can go through the same vanilla quest scripts, the exact same radio stations, the exact same User interface, the exact same weapons, the exact same armor, the exact same combat scripts and hit 1000 plus hours gametime doing so. But hey to each their own

But hey to each their own  ...,"the exact same level cap and hit 30 plus hours gametime doing so"!From an rpg-view both fo3 and falloutnv fail to compare with the previous installations of the game, especially fo2!I still remember myself when i reach level20 on fo3...imagine an "OMG" as big as the map of the game,(btw i had only discovered about 1/8 of it and i was very meticulously)! I can't really understand why both games have so much content without a proper leveling system to support it!?!Again:) from an rpg-view i can't see a reason for more than one playthrougth even with mods. The difference between the total amount of xp that you can earn from ALL the quests and the xp you need to reach level20/30 is TITANIC:p PS Great games but^^^...ending?what ending?1000hours?what?:)
zerrodefex
Ahh... I hoped that FNV has no ending, like Broken Steel from present Fo3 DLC, but I guess it is not what I hoped. I hated that Broken Steel didn't have an ending in itself. It was worth it for raising the level cap and retconning that horrible ending, but once I had blown up Adam AFB I felt like I was DONE. I had already finished all the other sidequests and DLCs before getting there since it felt like it was the finale. I just like a story to have an actual ending. Once a game goes into free-roam mode after the story ends (like say in Freelancer) I don't feel any need to keep playing.
