Jmyers
For some odd reason I cannot save scripts in geck every time I create a new script and try to save then exit a window pops up and asks me if I want to save it if I say no then it gets rid of the script and when I say yes it just goes back to the script editing. No matter how many times I try to save it won’t except I found one of the scripts as a duplicate. Am I missing something? flobalob
This problem seems to be caused by the script syntax checker, or rather the lack of validation mesages. It won't save a script that has an error, but unfortunately it gives you absolutely NO CLUE as to what the error is.I find that I have to save my scripts every few lines just to ensure I haven't got any typo's Etc. If you have created a lot of script then copy the lot into notepad, delete most of it and paste it back in sections to find the line in error. Here's me hoping they patch the Geck almost as much as they patch the game.
Quetzlsacatanango
You could run them through fo3's geck, or cipscis's script validator.
